What’s New In The ArcGIS API For Flex 1.2

Over the weekend, the updated ArcGIS API For Flex 1.2 was made available from download from the ESRI Resource Centre for ArcGIS Server. Information about this can be found on my post here:  http://geo.geek.nz/esri/…

The ArcGIS API For Flex 1.2 includes a bundle of new features along with a few bug fixes.

New Features:

• Routing using ArcGIS Server 9.3.1
• Microsoft Virtual Earth mapping
• Microsoft Virtual Earth geocoding
• Renderers to use instead of custom SymbolFunction to easily work with class breaks and unique values for thematic mapping
• Useful utility classes
• New properties
• New styles
• New and updated samples

There has also been ~ five changes and ~ eight bug fixes. A detailed what’s new list can be found here: http://resources.esri.com/help/… These new features are great and really take the ArcGIS API for Flex to the next level.
