What’s New In The ArcGIS API For JavaScript 1.4
The ArcGIS API for JavaScript 1.4 is now available and can referenced for use. Information on this release including some of the highlights can be found on my post here: http://geo.geek.nz/esri/…
The ArcGIS API for JavaScript 1.4 includes loads of new features along with some bug fixes and changes to take note of.
New Features:
- Microsoft Virtual Earth mapping
- Microsoft Virtual Earth geocoding
- Routing
- Renderers
- Support for Dojo 1.3.1
Changes:
- Multiple Graphics Layers
- Updates to Geometry Classes
- Changes to Namespace Classes
- dojo.Deferred added as the return object to asynchronous task methods
- Performance improvements
