ArcGIS API For Flex 1.2 Now Available
The ArcGIS API for Flex 1.2 is now available for download from the ESRI Resource Centre for ArcGIS Server.
Concepts, samples and reference documentation for the ArcGIS API for Flex has been updated as well. There are a few bug fixes along with a number of new features and samples.
Some highlights of what’s new in this latest release include:
Routing using ArcGIS Server 9.3.1. The REST endpoint was updated at ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 to support routing.
Microsoft Virtual Earth integration. This is similar to the Microsoft Virtual Earth integration that the ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF offers. The samples are using a server-side handler to retrieve the Microsoft Virtual Earth token. Slightly different to the samples in the ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF.
Using textAttribute on TextSymbol
As you can see there are some great additions to this latest release along with a few bug fixes. You can download this new build here: http://resources.esri.com/arcgisserver/…
