The final build of the ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF is now available for download from the ESRI Resource Centre for ArcGIS Server.

Build number are as follows:

Initial Release: 1.0.0.160

Updated Release: 1.0.0.209

Release Candidate: 1.0.0.255

Final Release: 1.0.0.269

There has been a few bugs, updates and enhancements since the release candidate.

Resolved bugs:

  • Update ArcGISImageServiceLayer when Url changes at runtime.
  • Map mouse click events not triggered in a WPF application.

Updates\Enhancements:

  • Implemented INotifyPropertyChanged on symbol classes (in ESRI.ArcGIS.Client.Symbols). This means you can bind symbol properties on a layer, change symbols properties at runtime and view the changes immediately.
  • WPF assemblies updated to use June 2009 release of the WPF toolkit (v3.5.40619.1).
  • Map has an IsLogoVisible property to show\hide the ESRI logo

The ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF 1.0 release comes a day after Microsoft released Microsoft Silverlight 3.0. If you have been using the release candidate version, it should be an easy change over to the final build and the ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight/WPF will work nicely with Microsoft Silverlight 3.0.
