ESRI Instructional Series Podcast, Introducing ArcSDE Implementation For PostgresSQL

A new podcast as part of the ESRI Instructional Series has been posted. ArcGIS 9.3 introduces support for PostgresSQL and this podcast provides an introduction in using ArcSDE withPostgresSQL.

With the release of ArcGIS Server 9.3, ESRI includes support for PostgreSQL 8.3.0. Learn how you can perform any workflow on ArcSDE for PostgreSQL as you would on any other ArcSDE implementation

With PostgresSQL being a free downloadable database there has been quite a bit of talk in this area. I now have running PostgresSQL along with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 on my laptop providing me to showcase some of the powerful features of both these databases.
