ESRI Developer Summit 2008 Keynote Speaker

ESRI has announced the keynote speaker for the upcoming Developer Summit in Palm Springs. Alan Cooper who is the founder and chairman of the board of Cooper.

Alan Cooper, a pioneering software inventor, programmer, designer, and theorist and widely known as the “father of Visual Basic,” has been helping companies invent powerful, usable, and desirable software for the last decade. His visionary ideas have been considered controversial before becoming accepted as common practice.

Should be an interesting keynote. Last year Mark Driver who is the vice president and research director at Gartner Research delivered the keynote speech. I haven’t really heard of Alan Cooper but it should be an interesting speech.
