Jack Dangermond To Speak At Where 2.0
Jack Dangermond will be a keynote speaker at this year’s Where 2.0 in San Jose, California, on April 1, 2010 as he talks about new ways to collaborate and share spatial data.
As part of his presentation, Spatial Analysis and the GeoWeb, Dangermond will discuss how open GIS services can be used to facilitate mashups and create applications that leverage data and spatial analytic functions. Open GIS services are used to create dynamic, modern Web applications that help decision makers with asset/data management, planning and analysis, business operations, and situational awareness.
There will also be a number of other staff on hand to showcase and discuss some of the new capabilities of open GIS. This will be part of the Where 2.0 Exhibit Hall. If you are attending Where 2.0 this year, go along and meet the teams. There are some amazing enhancements coming in the latest version of ArcGIS and you will be able to see these in action at Where 2.0.
