There is a great line up of speakers for this years summit including the president of ESRI, Jack Dangermond. Other speakers include LINZ (Land Information New Zealand) and EQC (Earthquake Commission).

Added to the speakers I have been spending the last week preparing some great demonstrations for the summit. This is around the concept of SDI (Spatial Data Infrastructure). Some wonder what an SDI is? I’ll post more in a follow up explaining the concept along with demonstration links.

At this years GIS Senior Executive Summit 2010 we will be launching some great tools that will allow users to share data as well begin to take advantage of an SDI. There is also a powerful viewer built using the ArcGIS API for Microsoft Silverlight which showcases data shared by users “mashed up”. I’ll post more about this after the summit as well.

A sneak peak of what this looks like is here:

More to come after The GIS Senior Executive Summit 2010 including demonstration links and information on SDI.
