So its over and I thought I would write a quick wrap up of the ESRI Developer Summit 2008.
Firstly I wanted to say a big thanks everyone involved in organising and putting this event together, the event exceeded my expectations. It was well organised and just perfect. Secondly a big thanks to all the presenters. I know what it’s like preparing presentations and demos and everyone did a great job.
This was one of the best conferences I have been to. ESRI did a great a job. The ESRI Developer Summit has really evolved over the last three years and at its current stage ranks right up there. ESRI is really listening to the developer community and it’s great to hear and see the feedback.
I would like the ESRI Developer Summit to be held just after Microsoft Mix. This would make it perfect for attending both of those events. I was going to attend Mix this year but due to the two week period between this and the Developer Summit I was unable to.
It was great meeting everyone and making new contacts. James have you recovered yet?
Lastly I want to say well done to the development teams at ESRI. ArcGIS 9.3 is looking very impressive and I am sure many users out there are looking forward to receiving it.
We flew out of Palm Springs on Thursday afternoon to arrive in Denver. We are up here skiing for 4 days until we head of to Boulder for some work. I arrive back in New Zealand on the 1st of April.
