ArcGIS Server 9.2, Supported Web Browsers Using The .NET ADF

I keep getting asked this question as to what browsers are supported by ESRI for ArcGIS Server 9.2 using the .NET ADF. Since these are changing all the time, I thought I would have a quick look on the ESRI Support Centre.

A very interesting list has been posted actually. The only browsers supported by ESRI for ArcGIS Server 9.2 using the .NET ADF are Firefox 1.5, Internet Explorer 6.0 and Netscape Communicator 8.1. Here is the official list of browsers supported and on which operating system.

Everyone wonders about Internet Explorer 7 and if this is supported? You can find ESRI’s answer on this here: http://se7en.co.nz/cms/scrappad/archive/2006/10/27/Does-ESRI-Support-Microsoft-Internet-Explorer-7_3F00_.aspx

Now here is my question, what about support for Mozilla Firefox 2.0? I haven’t heard anything about this support from ESRI as yet. It will be good to see that service pack come out for Internet Explorer 7 as I have been seeing some very weird behavior using the .NET ADF on Internet Explorer 6.0/7.0.
