GIS Day 2005 Write Up

It was great to see such a different number of organisations getting involved as well, and this turned out to be a success.

For those wondering, why did those guys in New Zealand hold their own GIS Day? Its due to the fact that the International ESRI GIS Day falls at a bad time for schools in New Zealand, as this is during final exams!

Unfortunately I couldnt contribute to GIS day, unlike some of our other consultants that were all over the country, as I had project meetings to attend. I also couldnt even wear my GIS Day t-shirt to work that day as well, due to our dress code! Ah, maybe next year
