Especially in light of esri&#039;s decree to put service packs out more frequently and to include not just fixes but enhancements within them. This equals more testing environments for devs, more time spent installing patches, more headaches.&lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;Yup, I had issues updating to sp2 on a server running 2003 Server x64. &#160;Everything was fine except that, in the post-install the system.config in arcgis/services had its identity element screwed up. &#160;Re-running post-install never helped; I ended up copying an old version of the file with a correct identity into the directory. &#160;&lt;/p&gt;
