ArcGIS.com has now gone live and is available for use. While this is in beta its available for the public to use. ArcGIS.com was talked about and showcased heavily at the ESRI Business Partner Conference 2010 and the ESRI Developer Summit 2010 and forms part of what’s coming with the release of ArcGIS 10. ArcGIS Online Map Services Migrating To Microsoft Virtual Earth/Google Maps Tiling Scheme

At the ESRI Developer Summit 2009 earlier this year, ESRI announced that ArCGIS Online will migrate its map services to the Microsoft Virtual Earth/Google Maps tiling scheme. ArcGIS Online Premium Services Now Available

Earlier this month ESRI announced that ArcGIS Online would feature a new premium service. The first addition to this premium service was the introduction of Microsoft Virtual Earth.
