Last week I posted information about an updated route finder which was made available as the ESRI International User Conference 2010 is set to kick of in San Diego. The ESRI International User Conference 2010 is about to kick off in San Deigo next week and for the last few years ESRI has created a nice little Flex application that allows you to find a room or router around the San Deigo Convention Centre.
The application is a great and useful showcase of some of the capabilities of ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS API for Flex and Network Analyst. The route finder displays distance in either mi or km as well as approximate walking time. There is also the option of search for accessible routes. A new press release is about to be published that talks about the new dynamic geocoding and routing services now offered through ArcGIS Online. ArcGIS Online is a fairly new platform, and ESRI has been working hard to add a number of new services and features to this platform.
